The following is the Chengdu ranks the third in China in terms of automobile sales in 2020 recommended by recordtrend.com. And this article belongs to the classification: Automobile industry.

At present, China is in the stage of popularization and promotion of automobile consumption, and private cars begin to enter more families. Due to the durable property of the car, the average family’s car change cycle should be at least more than five years. Therefore, although the total sales volume has decreased in recent years, there are more and more families with cars, and cars have become an indispensable travel tool for domestic people.

A few days ago, based on the purchase data of new vehicle compulsory insurance, the total sales of new vehicles in 2020 is 19.966 million, a negative growth of 9.4% compared with that in 2019, but there are still 51 cities in China with a positive year-on-year growth, accounting for about 15%.

According to the domestic regulations, vehicles on the road must purchase compulsory traffic insurance, so the insured volume can represent the real vehicle sales to a certain extent.

Among the 342 cities in China, Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Zhengzhou, Chongqing, Shenzhen, Suzhou, Hangzhou and Dongguan are the top ten cities in terms of car sales.

It can be seen that Guangdong Province is the most economically developed province, and three of the top ten cities are listed, namely Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Dongguan.

The cities with the highest car sales were occupied by Shanghai and Beijing, with sales of 646405 and 555930 vehicles respectively, but both of them showed a slight decline year on year.

Chengdu, as the capital city of Sichuan Province, ranked third in the list with 509717 vehicles, but with a year-on-year decline of 12.93%. Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, followed closely, with a total annual sales of 464631 vehicles, ranking fourth.

As a populous province, the sales volume of cars in Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan Province, is also high, with the annual total sales volume of 456598 vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 7.93%.

Moreover, at the end of last year, Zhengzhou’s “Yu a” license plate resources dried up, and the “Yu V” brand new license plate was used, which also reflected from the side that in recent years, the number of motor vehicles in Zhengzhou increased rapidly.

Since there are cities with the highest sales volume, there are also cities with the lowest sales volume. In Tibet, Qinghai, Gansu and other provinces, due to the vast land and sparse population, the span between cities is large, and the population of some cities is not large.

As a result, the base of local car sales is not large enough, and almost all of the top ten cities are in the above three provinces, with annual sales of about 4 or 500.

However, it’s unexpected that Sansha City, Hainan Province, ranks last, with only 9 vehicles sold annually. Even so, the sales volume rose by 12.36%. I can’t help thinking how many people live in this city?
