In the second-hand car transaction at the brand dealer, 11 of the 13 factors are considered as very important by the buyer; while in the second-hand car transaction at the independent dealer, 9 of the 13 factors are considered as very important by the buyer.

Specific reasons for purchase

Among the specific factors influencing car purchase, in addition to the evaluation of the importance at the time of purchase, the respondents also need to rank the 18 influencing factors of car purchase in brand dealers, independent dealers and private markets according to the importance in the transaction.

In brand dealers, the condition, price and decoration are the three most important factors; in independent dealers, the condition, price and test drive are the three most important factors; in private transactions, the condition, price and decoration are the three most important factors.

Some of these factors have very obvious differences among different car purchase locations. For example, the recommendation of relatives or acquaintances is not an important factor for buyers who buy cars at brand dealers and independent dealers, but it is more important for private market transactions (ranked eighth). For private market buyers, Internet advertising (ranked sixth) is much more important than car buyers at brand dealers and independent dealers.

Satisfaction with the transaction
