According to Adobe analytics, as consumers were isolated at home and shopping online during the new epidemic, online consumption in the United States during the 2020 holiday season increased by 32.2% over 2019, reaching a record $188.2 billion. Adobe said online sales, including Black Friday and Cyber Monday, reached $100 billion for the first time last November.

According to another analysis by salesforce, retailers such as target and Dick’s sports goods provide roadside pickup and other convenient online order pickup methods, and sales are even stronger during the holiday season. Salesforce also found a 109% increase in “buy now, pay later” usage of online shopping during the holiday season.
