According to the latest data of Asia media partners (MPA), the online video industry revenue in the Asia Pacific region will grow 14% year on year in 2020, reaching US $30.5 billion. SVOD exceeded AVOD, accounting for 53% of the total revenue; AVOD accounted for 47%. The total revenue of online video is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 12% and reach US $54.5 billion by 2025. By then, SVOD will account for 57% and AVOD will account for 43%.
