1、 Overall operation

The revenue of telecom business increased steadily. From January to may, the total revenue of telecom business reached 612.7 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.7%, and the average growth rate in two years was 4.7%, which was 6.4 percentage points higher than that in the same period of 2019 before the epidemic. Mobile data and Internet business revenue was 272.6 billion yuan, up 2.7% year on year, accounting for 44.5% of the telecom business revenue.

From January to may, the accumulated mobile Internet traffic reached 84.6 billion GB, a year-on-year growth of 38.5%, achieving three consecutive months of accelerated growth. Among them, the mobile Internet traffic reached 81.1 billion GB, a year-on-year increase of 37.4%, accounting for 95.8% of the total mobile Internet traffic. In May, the average mobile Internet access traffic (Dou) reached 13.62gb per household per month, a year-on-year increase of 35.6%, 1.7GB higher than that at the end of last year, reaching a new high of Dou.

The call volume of mobile phone keeps growing, while the decline of mobile SMS service volume narrows. From January to may, the call duration of mobile phones reached 920.2 billion minutes, an increase of 4.6% year on year; The calling time of fixed line telephone was 38.7 billion minutes, a year-on-year decrease of 4.3%. 4、 Regional development

The mobile Internet traffic in all regions is growing rapidly, and the Dou value of some western provinces and cities ranks in the forefront of the country. From January to may, the mobile Internet access traffic in the eastern, central, Western and northeast regions reached 35.9 billion GB, 18.9 billion GB, 25.2 billion GB and 4.62 billion GB, respectively, with a year-on-year growth of 39.6%, 41.2%, 36% and 33.5%, and the growth rate of the central region was ahead of that of the whole country.
