According to the latest retail sales statistics of automobile market research branch of China Automobile Circulation Association (passenger Federation), the sales volume of domestic narrow passenger car market reached 1.25 million in February, with a year-on-year increase of 4.5% and a month on month decrease of 39.9%; From January to February, the cumulative sales volume was 3.328 million, a year-on-year decrease of 1.6%.

German cars (three): FAW Volkswagen won the first and second place together with SAIC Volkswagen. The German car market accounted for 17.7% in February, down 5.8 percentage points from the previous month.
Japanese cars (five): the market share was 22.5%, an increase of 5.9 percentage points over the previous month. Dongfeng Nissan is firmly in the top position of Japanese cars, and the sales volume of Dongfeng Nissan and Liangtian is closer in the retail ranking.
Last month, the proportion of cars in the U.S. market was basically the same as that of the U.S. market (8.5%).
Independent brands (six): the market share was 29.2%, down 0.8 percentage points from last month. BYD became the new runner up, with a year-on-year increase of 340.4%. Geely motor entered the top five. SAIC GM Wuling, Great Wall Motor, Chang’an Motor and Chery motor also performed well, among which Chery motor rose by 21.8%.

Japanese cars (five): the market share was 22.3%, an increase of 4.6 percentage points over the previous month. Dongfeng Nissan is firmly in the top position of the Japanese car. The sales of “nanbeifeng” and “nanbeiben” are more than 50000.
American cars (two): the market share was 9.0%, up 3.9 percentage points from the previous month. Tesla China was included in the list this month.
Independent brands (six): the market share was 28.3%, down 4.8 percentage points from the previous month. BYD became the leader of its own brand, with a year-on-year increase of 333.6%, Geely Automobile ranked in the top five, and SAIC passenger car ranked ninth, with a year-on-year increase of 99.8%; Changan, great wall and Chery also performed well.
