JD logistics released the performance report for the first quarter of 2022. The financial report showed that in the first quarter of this year, JD logistics’ revenue reached 27.4 billion yuan, of which the revenue of external customers accounted for nearly 60%, and the number of external integrated supply chain customers increased by nearly 20% year-on-year. The net loss in the first quarter was 1.386 billion yuan, compared with 11.069 billion yuan in the same period last year.
The financial report shows that as of March 31, 2022, JD logistics has operated about 1400 warehouses nationwide, including the management area of the cloud warehouse ecological platform. The total storage network management area of JD logistics exceeds 25million square meters.
JD logistics explained the reasons for the loss in the financial report, because it continued to invest in logistics infrastructure, supply chain technology research and development, front-line employee compensation and welfare, and went all out to participate in the anti epidemic insurance supply in Shanghai and other places to help businesses return to work and production.
JD logistics also announced that Ma Yueyin will assume a new position in JD group, and has submitted to resign as the company’s chief financial officer (CFO), effective from May 17, 2022.
