Drago recruitment data Research Institute released the survey report on Internet users’ expectation of year-end bonus. The report shows that 71.1% of Internet users received year-end bonus last year, but only 43.3% of Internet users believe that year-end bonus will be paid as usual this year, and the overall expectation of practitioners is negative.

The data show that 66% of Internet users have received the year-end bonus commitment made by the company, of which the amount of year-end bonus ranges from 50.7% for 1-2 months’ salary, 35% for 2-4 months’ salary, and 8.7% for more than 4 months’ year-end bonus commitment, while 72.5% of Internet practitioners with year-end bonus are directly linked to performance.

From the actual distribution last year, 71.1% of Internet users received the year-end bonus last year, of which 43.9% were paid for 1-2 months, 22.8% for less than one month and 15.8% for more than four months.

The data show that more than half of the surveyed companies have laid off employees this year. 69.8% of the laid off enterprises do not expect the year-end bonus, while 93% of the non laid off enterprises think they will get corresponding returns. Layoffs have become a sensitive factor affecting employees’ expectations.

In this context, only 41.5% of Internet users believe that the company will pay the year-end bonus as usual this year, of which 77.6% believe that the amount of the year-end bonus is within 2 months of salary, and the overall expectation is pessimistic. 72.5% of Internet practitioners will consider changing jobs because they do not get the expected year-end bonus.

In addition, 58.8% of the people will reduce the expectation of year-end bonus due to the poor business development of the company, and 41.2% will become pessimistic due to the industry environment.

From the perspective of the industry, as the most volatile education industry practitioners this year, 75.3% of the practitioners believe that they can not get the expected year-end bonus, and half believe that the year-end bonus is less than one month. The game industry, which has always been “out of the circle” because of the rich year-end bonus, under the influence of the policy, only 60.5% of practitioners believe that they will get the year-end bonus this year.

On the contrary, enterprise service and data service practitioners are more optimistic. 77.7% of enterprise service personnel and 80.4% of data service personnel believe that the company will pay year-end bonuses as usual. According to the analysis of the earlier pull hook recruitment report, the talent demand index in the field of to C shrank by 19.7%, while the talent demand index in the field of to B increased by 27.4% compared with last year. Among them, the demand index in the field of enterprise services increased the fastest, as high as 36.1%. With the popularization of intelligent technology and the continuous promotion of Internet instrumentalization, the Internet bottom service is gradually giving play to its “afterforce” to provide bottom support for the business reform of the whole industry.

As the “feeling early bird” at the front end of each subdivided industry, the sales business is the most pessimistic about the expectation of this year’s year-end bonus, and 67% think it will not be paid as usual. The products were the most optimistic, and 82% thought they would be distributed as usual.

From the actual year-end bonus return last year, the year-end bonus in the information security industry is the highest, accounting for 66.7% of the salary in 3-4 months and 33.3% of the salary in more than 4 months. The game industry is seriously polarized, with more than 4 months and 1-2 months accounting for half respectively. In terms of positions, 33.3% of technical talents won the final award for more than 4 months last year, and 28.6% of products won the year-end award for 3-4 months last year. However, the year-end award is relatively “unfriendly” to business and sales posts, and more than 80% of them have a salary of no more than 1 month.

Different from the public perception, the year-end bonus is not directly related to the scale of the enterprise. Large companies with 500-2000 employees make higher year-end bonus commitments – 54% can get year-end bonus for more than 2 months and 36% can get year-end bonus for more than 4 months. In the super large companies with more than 2000 employees, 68% of the employees have a year-end bonus of less than 2 months, the micro companies with less than 50 employees have serious two-level differentiation, and 75% of the employees have a year-end bonus of less than 2 months, but 25% of the employees can get a year-end return of more than 4 months.

In addition, 26.3% of senior staff with 5-10 years of service received more than 4 months of year-end bonus last year, In the Internet industry, the year-end bonus increases with the number of years of work, showing an hourglass trend of big at both ends and small in the middle. “On the one hand, the emerging blood of the Internet industry is constantly pouring in, and the industry has always been generous in the cost of introducing talents; on the other hand, mature senior talents are scarce resources in the industry and will be more and more valuable,” said Drago recruitment experts, “Relatively speaking, the competition in the Internet industry is more intense. If you want to get continuous upward development and return, maintaining progress and competitiveness is the key. You can’t be the ‘majority in the middle’.”
