1、 Overall operation

Software business revenue maintained rapid growth. The revenue of software products increased steadily and rapidly. In 2021, the revenue of software products was 2443.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12.3%, an increase of 2.2 percentage points over the same period of last year, accounting for 25.7% of the revenue of the whole industry. Among them, the income of industrial software products was 241.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 24.8%, 7.1 percentage points higher than the level of the whole industry.

The growth rate of information technology service revenue is leading. In 2021, the income from information technology services was 6031.2 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 20.0%, 2.3 percentage points higher than the level of the whole industry, accounting for 63.5% of the income of the whole industry. The revenue growth of information security products and services accelerated. 3、 Regional situation

The eastern region maintained rapid growth, while the central and western regions showed prominent growth. In 2021, the eastern, central, Western and northeast regions achieved software business revenue of 7616.4 billion yuan, 461.8 billion yuan, 1158.6 billion yuan and 262.7 billion yuan respectively, with a year-on-year increase of 17.6%, 18.9%, 19.4% and 12.1% respectively. Among them, the central and western regions are 1.2 and 1.7 percentage points higher than the national average. The software business income of the four regions accounted for 80.2%, 4.9%, 12.2% and 2.8% of the total national income respectively.

The income proportion of major software provinces further increased, and the growth rate of some central and western provinces and cities was bright. In 2021, Beijing, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shandong, which ranked among the top five in software business revenue, achieved a total revenue of 6269.2 billion yuan, accounting for 66.0% of the national software industry, an increase of 1.2 percentage points over the same period last year. There are 15 provinces and cities where the growth rate of software business income is higher than the national average, of which the provinces with a growth rate of more than 30% are concentrated in the central and western regions, including Guizhou, Guangxi, Shanxi and so on.

The revenue growth of software business in central cities accelerated, and the total profit increased steadily. In 2021, the software business income of 15 sub provincial central cities in China reached 4954 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 16.3%, an increase of 3.3 percentage points over the same period of last year, accounting for 52.2% of the national software industry; The total profit was 640.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.5%, and the growth rate was 0.5 percentage points lower than that of the same period last year. Among them, the year-on-year growth rate of software business income in Hangzhou, Qingdao, Jinan and Guangzhou exceeded the average level of the whole industry.
