According to brightlocal’s latest local search industry survey report, navigation algorithm update, platform replacement and new technology seem to be the most concerned issues of local marketers this year.

Among the 550 marketers engaged in local search engine optimization surveyed, 36% said that responding to algorithm updates was an important concern of their business and customers, and 28% said that voice search was a concern of customers.

However, the most important trend this year seems to be the trend related to “Google my business”. With Google’s update to Google my business, 60% of respondents agreed that the platform had improved over the past year, and only 11% disagreed.
