Adobe has released a new report, “holiday shopping season forecast 2020.”. The main forecasts include:
1. Covid-19 will drive online holiday consumption and create a new record of e-commerce
Adobe predicts that online holiday spending will reach $189 billion, up 33% year-on-year. If the flu season prevents people from shopping, the potential for online consumption could be even higher, reaching $200 billion (up 47% year-on-year).
