In the camp of domestic independent brands, Wuling has achieved a top performance of 70% in the top 15 models with a three-year value preservation rate. This is mainly because Wuling’s commercial vehicle attributes, pays attention to practicality, and the new car price is cheap enough, and the discount space in the later stage is small.

In the second place is linker, with a three-year value preservation rate of 66.1%. Even compared with Japanese joint venture vehicles, linker’s value preservation rate is not inferior.

GAC motor, Great Wall wey and Wuling Baojun ranked third to fifth with 64.1%, 63.9% and 63.2% respectively.

However, the most prominent one is Chery Automobile, which ranks second from the bottom with a value preservation rate of 52.1% in three years. Of course, the number one “throne” failed to overtake FAW Pentium.

However, in terms of brand voice and sales volume, Chery is far superior to the latter. Among the domestic automobile brands, Chery has always been praised by netizens as “technical Chery”. However, in terms of marketing, Chery has never been able to bring a big breakthrough, which also leads to Chery’s low brand awareness in the market, and it is difficult to break through the high-end brand image.

The value preservation rate of 52.1% in three years also makes the owners of Chery feel cut off when they replace new cars in the future. It’s equivalent to driving for three years, and the price of the car is reduced by half. Anyone who sells a car will feel heartbroken. Do you think the slogan “Chery for one day, Chery for life” has anything to do with this “touching” hedge ratio?

With the improvement of the recognition of domestic brands, the value preservation rate of domestic brands has also increased significantly. Among the top 15 value preservation rates of domestic brands, the three-year value preservation rate of 8 independent brands can reach more than 60%, which is the same as that of mainstream joint venture brands such as Volkswagen, Hyundai and Kia.

At the same time, even the first-line luxury brands such as Mercedes Benz, BMW and Audi, which are in the luxury market segment, are almost crushed by independent brands with absolute value preservation advantages in the three-year value preservation rate.

In addition to the fact that the current price increase of the Porsche brand and the terminal discount are relatively small, and the Lexus brand in the Japanese car camp has an absolute advantage in the three-year value preservation rate, the three-year value preservation rate of most second tier luxury brands is lower than that of Wuling, linker, GAC motor and other independent brands.

To be specific, the value preservation rate of “premium God cars” such as Porsche and Lexus has exceeded 80%. And Porsche is even more exaggerated. The value preservation rate in three years is 85.6%, which means that it can almost sell at the original price in three years, and the value preservation rate is “God”.

Lexus is also strong. The three-year value preservation rate is as high as 86.6%, which makes the first-line luxury cars such as Mercedes Benz, BMW and Audi feel inferior. If you look down at the ranking, it’s mainstream luxury cars like BBA.

The three-year value preservation rate of Mercedes Benz, BMW and Audi is 74.9%, 70.1% and 66.4%, respectively. Compared with ordinary brand models, the value preservation rate of first-line luxury cars is still much stronger. Second line luxury brands, such as Tesla, Infiniti, Land Rover, Volvo, Cadillac and Acura, follow closely, and have little fluctuation, almost all around 55-60%.

However, to everyone’s surprise, in the luxury brand list, the luxury brand in French cars is the worst. Its three-year value preservation rate is only 38%, which is similar to the value preservation rate of Jaguar (56.1%). Moreover, such a value preservation rate is even “scrap iron price” for car owners. There is no difference between selling cars and cutting meat.

Take DS brand’s flagship model DS9, which is sold in China, as an example. The guide price of the entry-level model is 249900 yuan. Without additional calculation of purchase tax, insurance and other floor stands, the owner’s bare car price in three years is only 95000 yuan, which is equivalent to a loss of 85000 yuan in one year. It has to be said that luxury cars not only burn money in China, but also burn money.
