In 2020, COVID-19 swept the globe, and China’s strong and flexible market became a haven for European enterprises, which made it through the difficulties. For the first time in more than a decade, more than half of the respondents in China outperformed other regions in terms of earnings before interest and tax. This proves the effectiveness of public health measures, which have brought the economy back on track.
