The software industry revenue in the eastern region grew steadily and rapidly, while the growth in the central region slowed down significantly. From January to July, the software business revenue in the eastern region was 4130.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 21.8%, down 1.9 percentage points from the first half of the year and 0.4 percentage points higher than the national average. The software business revenue in the central region was 2341 yuan, a year-on-year increase of 21.8%, down 3.7 percentage points from the first half of the year. The software business revenue in the western region was 628.6 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 20.1%, down 1 percentage point from the first half of the year. The software business revenue in Northeast China was 151.1 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 15.3%, down 0.6 percentage points from the first half of the year. The software business income of the four regions accounted for 80.3%, 4.6%, 12.2% and 2.9% of the total national income respectively.

Major software provinces maintained double-digit growth. From January to July, among the top six provinces in terms of software business revenue, Beijing, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai and Shandong had software revenue of 1057.1 billion yuan, 918.9 billion yuan, 651.4 billion yuan, 433.7 billion yuan, 399.8 billion yuan and 379.1 billion yuan respectively, an increase of 31.9%, 19.2%, 16.6%, 13.9%, 24.4% and 22.8% respectively. The total software business revenue of the six provinces and cities was 3840 billion yuan, accounting for 74.6% of the country, The proportion increased by 2.1 percentage points compared with the same period last year.
