These lower discretionary companies have a clear modernization roadmap and are more likely to fully invest in large-scale modernization projects costing more than $10million.
The phased and coexisting method is less destructive than the big bang
The risk of modernization in stages is smaller than that of completing everything at once. The same analysis applies to the coexistence approach, where modern systems run in parallel with legacy applications that are being transformed. The big bang method is more likely to cause serious damage, and more than half of the respondents (51%) use this method to experience more serious damage more frequently than other methods.
Modernization competition
Enterprises have only five years to modernize their legacy applications, otherwise they will be left behind. Modernization is the top priority of enterprises, and enterprises must act immediately.
